This page is in editorial and medical review. Content below is a scaffold — treat it as a preview, not guidance.

Practical prompts to bring to your next appointment — not a script, a starting point.

  1. Which subtype do I have (adenocarcinoma, squamous, or other)?

  2. What stage is it, and has it spread outside the lung?

  3. Has my tumor been tested for biomarkers like EGFR, ALK, or PD-L1?

Biomarker results open up targeted therapies and immunotherapies for some patients.

  4. Am I a candidate for surgery, radiation, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy?

  5. Are there clinical trials for my subtype or biomarker profile?

A note on using this list

Bring the 3–5 questions that matter most to you, not all of them. It’s also fine to take notes during the appointment, or bring someone with you who can.
